One of the most important aspects of localization and translation projects is quality management which is applied to both project management processes and efficient communication, as well as to the project deliveries and the end-product obtained in the course of project implementation.
To meet the high quality requirements of our customers, we carry out a strict selection of language specialists and provide continuous employee training, as well as assess our translators' and editors' work on regular basis.
Each team member at LINGMASTER is well-aware of his or her exact duties and responsibilities.
When starting a new project, project managers not only chose the most appropriate translator and editor for each project by taking into account their areas of specialization (e.g. IT&T, medicine, automotive) but also, in co-operation with the customer, find the best solution for each problem, search for answers to all unclear questions and are in charge of both receipt and timely delivery of project files.
Initially, translators/editors are selected according to the following professional criteria:
- Higher education in philology or any related area
- At least 2 years’ experience as a professional translator/editor
- Translation experience in definite areas of specialization
- Excellent computing skills
- Ability to complete the work within a tight deadline
Any translator/proofreader should pass a translation/editing test which is evaluated according to the unified requirements by using a standard assessment form with specially designed assessment score system. We evaluate not only theoretical knowledge and achievements but also experience, enthusiasm and overall knowledge in different fields. It is important that our team members not only deal with their direct duties perfectly but also improve their skills and knowledge and get acquainted with the latest technology developments on an ongoing basis.
If you feel that you can comply with our requirements and wish to join our team of translators and editors, please send your application letter and CV to the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
